More and more we see technology used in the school atmosphere. Now days teachers use computers for power-points, students use them for presentations, internet is used for class assignments, and television channels are used for school publication and access. I think that technology being used in schools is a great thing. It offers many opportunities for students to learn more about the world around them and really get great information. It allows more public access to things that may be far away and will never get to actually get to experience. This is most definitely and advancement in education.
I heard that people disagree with the use of blogs (there was an article, but now I can't find it), fearing it causes stalking and such. My response is simple: Don't Neglect Websafety. A stranger on the internet is no less a threat than a stranger in real life. So, making sure your children know basic websafety rules and don't give out information that can be used to track them on the internet. And that's that.
Pink as a pig
Rough like a cashmere sweater
Tough around the edges
Golden as gold
It's fairly obvious I'm making this up as I go.

The goat stood upon his heels
And started to tap dance.
The shepherd passed out from shock.
His flock stepped out for their evening tea.
One more stanza should just about do it.

Bam! It's over.
Like the stupid goat's dance recital.
I needed at least
Three figures of speech.
How did I do?
This particular article was about students being banned from blogging. I feel that it isn't fair to the ones who know how far to go on blogging. Yes, it is pretty dangerous because you could put too much information on your blog. Someone could then track you down somehow and do anything. The reason that I feel that they shouldn't ban the students from blogging is becuase I feel that it is the teacher's responsibility to tell them all how far they could go on blogging. So, that's how I feel about this whole situation.
Hurricane Katrina was so ugly
Thousands of people lost their homes and mind
People was dieing all over the street
The sun was a chariot of fire
No food are clothing to put on their backs
People was no longer independent
They came together to help each other
They sat outside for many days to come
The wind was one hundred miles per hour
It hit them like Crack, Splash, or Bow-Wow
They had no money are no place to go
You had to look hard to find a place to sleep
Bobies was dieing cause they had no milk
When you look around everything was gone
The town was nothing but one big lake
"The river running round the rock"
I am just happy that I wasn't there.
"Crack" was what I heard
Because the sun was a chariot of fire
I was so hot, I could have melted
"Splash" is what I heard in the water
Most animals tried to hide from the sun under the water
Everything looked perfect outside from the inside
The river was running the water the rocks
My bow-wow laid under the trees for air
It seemed that nothing can make it go away
What's weird is that if you looked on the ground it would look wet
But I knew that it was nothing but the heat
The chariot of fire seemed to have gotten worse by the minute
I brought my dog inside and cut the fan and television on
There was breaking news at the bottom of the screen
That's when I realized that there was a heat wave out-doors
Today I plan on going to the mall once I get home from school. Then when I get there I 'll head straight to Subway. From there, I'll go to American Eagle and Famous. Once I get done shopping, I'm going to go home and do my homework. After that I'm going to eat something, and then head to sleep afterwards. So, that 's what I plan on doing today.
I can't wait when the day come and I get out of school and go to collage to become a nurse(RN). I am looking to that day because my mother is an nurse and she make good money. I just love to think about the day when I can go out and make some good money by helping people. My mother would always tell me, "If you help out others, good things would always come to you". And I love my mother for telling me that, because it really open my eyes about life. I don't know what collage I wont to go to , but when I do it would be fun. I just can't wait.
I have to understand that life has many obstacles that sometimes are unknown. Things that happen can't be changed, all you can do is pray and leave it in Gods hands. Everything that you can do for others you should do. Things can be so much better when you have christ in your life. I am beginning to understand that things can't always go your way and that you can't get upset when they don't. If you can't understand that then simple ask for the help of a more experienced person who can help you get through. People shouldn't be so stubborn, you'll miss out on your blessings like that, trust me I know. I have always been the type of person who wants the very best, sometimes I get so wrapped up in what I'm doing that I simple forget about others. I only try to do my best because I want to succeed in life but I fail to realize sometimes that there is know point in being successful if you have knowbody to share it with...Right. I just pray that anyone who reads this blog will take a moment to look deep inside themselves and see who you really are...hopfully you wouldn't be stubborn about making this decision...it may be to late. Just pray and God will lead the way!

When it come to young people and blogging, I don't think there is nothing wrong with it. Some should be able to blog and some shouldn't. I read this blog just the other day and they was telling all of there information in it. I don't think that you should be able to but things like that in your blog because any body can read them. They need to start puting an information block on blogs. Some people are just blogging about whatever pops into thier head. And one day the wrong person is going to read their blog and something is going to happen to them.

But I love to blog at school and home because it let you express my feelings and I can speak my main. All young people isn't bad bloggers, but you need to keep an eye out for the bad ones. And when I do see some ones blog and they are talking about bad thing, I would report them to an officers so they can found them before something bad happens. I just hope nothing happens to me.
This article is the most craziest thing I've heard so far. Now it has went from one problem to another. This problem now focuses on the technical use in schools mainly pointing fingers at blogging. Ever since the killing that happened at Lindbergh High School, the government and other national officials have looked at blogging differently. They say that blogging is some form of writing that affects the lives of people. I think personally that if you pour out your personal feelings on blogs then somethings wrong. My opinion on blogs is that it is a online journal but it can be viewed by hundreds of people. People log on 24/7 and talk about their problems also. This to me is just screaming for attention but its not always an act. Looking back at this article's opinion now, most people do take it a bit far. Such an example can be the time where one person was blogging about their teacher. The only thing was that it wasn't good things and some of the person's language was quite "colorful." I have to admit a majority of the bloggers that put their personal life on the spot, nine times out of ten they have no relationship with their family. However in this article it says how much blogging is not good and things of that matter. I think that if there were "real" parents in the world, there wouldn't be negative blogging. Children that have diaries and journals need some kind of relationship with their mom and dad. So the moral of this blog is that before you nip it in the bud dig up the roots.
time to give
Why is it hard to give when you have so much?
Changing a life is as simple as a touch
People all over the world are dying
What does it take for those who can help to start trying?
The world is filled with greed and hate
Things around us seem so hard to appreciate
What does it take for the world to care?
If you were down you would want someone to be there
But people only seem to care about themself
They dont bother to take the time out to help someone else
It seems that the hardest thing in the world is to give
But what if it means that someone else gets to live?
People seem to be stuck on selfishness
It should be easy to give when you are so blessed
I wish the world could change and hear my plea
Because I cant do it alone with just me
The clouds are looking down at the world in shame
For this problem we need to know on who is the blame?
Everything around is about to crash
and we dont know how to stop this so again we ask
Why is it so hard to give?
It can be someone else's second chance to live.
PROJECT AFRICA

Project Africa is a plan I wish to pursue in about 15 to 20 years. I often watch on television about what is going on in Africa such as the civil wars, poverty, and AIDS.
There many kids and adults who go hungry over there every night. There are also many parents being killed by mobs and AIDS that are leaving kids orphaned and left out on the streets.
I plan on going over there to help. Of course I wont be able to do this all on my own. I want to form a foundation. First, I plan to build food and medicine pantrys to provide aid for all of the families in need. Secondly, I would like to build shelters for the street kids to give them a place to sleep, eat, and go to school. Third, I would like to provide some kind of relief for the AIDS patients. I going use my own personal funding and goverment funding. My goal is to go over there and make their lives better. I want to adequate food and medicine. I also want them to have clean water and nice schools to attend. Also I want them to have school books, pencils, paper and school shoes and clothes so that they can have everything that they need to get a good education.
There are many things that I would like to go overseas and accomplish. I really care about the kids, they are my main concern. But the food is the most important thing because they cant do much without food to live. I also plan to go over and fix up the slums and villiages and give them necessary material to build good homes for their families.
School Fights

After lunch I got to fifth period . Before we go into the class we stand outside the door because everybody walks past there. Most of the time, fights go down right there in front of us. I think why are you fighting at school, knowing that you are going to get suspened or detention. I say if you want to fight someone do not do it at school. No mater how much you want too you should just, try to avoid the person. When you fight at school you are only hurting your self. You don't come to school to fight, you come to get an education. Trying to act hard and talking back to teachers will get you know where
"What would you like to drink?" This was like a dream. She hadn't spent time with her father since Haya had been born. She couldn't remember those times, just that she always hated Haya for taking it from her. It was all so weird. He had just shown up that morning, told Yoh-Oji that he taking her out for the afternoon and that was that.

"Hanabi?"

"Hm?" Her attention was brought back to the present.

"What would you like to drink?" He repeated patiently.

"Milk," she answered meekly. "Please," she added quickly after some forethought.

The display on the counter caught her eye. Within the crystal clear case, resting upon the counter, there was a wary of enormaous cookies of all types; sugar cookies, peanut butter, chocolate chip, oatmeal, macadonia nut, and others that Hanabi didn't know the name of. She lightly licked her lips as she imagined being back home before "the bad thing" happened.

Her father would bake the 'Famous Manson Recipe' cookies, that had been passed down to him from the dearly departed Grandma Manson; though, why he had been taught the recipe instead of Momma or Aunt Samantha, was unknown. But those cookies were the best she, in all 8 years of her life, had ever eaten. She would love coming home from school and feeling the warmth in the air from the oven. The smell of flour, sweet hand-churned butter, and cinnamon floating out the kitchen. The sound of her father quietly humming to himself as he carefully prepared the perfect batter.

She would peek into the kitchen to see if some of the cookies were already done and cooling. They always were. She would always try and take one without being notice, but she always was. He wouldn't ever turn around. He would just say casually, "Those are hot." Then, he'd turn around and hand her the mixing spoon covered with batter from the previous batch. She would graciously accept it and suck placidly on the bend of the spoon. The rich, sweet flavor rolled over her tongue and down her throat, overtaking the entirety of her mouth.

"Hanabi?"

"Huh?"

"Would you like a cookie?" He asked bemusedly.

"Ah," She looked back at the case, "Yes, please." She glared angrily at her shoes, an uncharacteristic blush formed over her nose. That was twice now that she spaced out. It was not like her to be flighty. Haya was flighty. She was focused and always aware of her surroundings.

She huffed angrily. There was a chuckle from above her. She looked up to see her father smiling down at her, as if he found her antics thus far to be amusing. He reached down and patted her endearingly on the head. "Don't worry about, Hanabi. It's adorable," he said comforting with laughter clear in his voice.

They walked over to a little table near the window. The table was too high and she sat in her chair, her nose just barely reached the surface. The man who worked there quickly brought over a booster seat. Hanabi blushed again at the prospect of having to use a booster seat at her age, but at least it was a cushion instead of one of those plastic seats which look like car seats to her. Her milk and cookies were set in front of her. She nipped softly on the cookie's edge to to see how hard it was. It was much too hard to eat without soaking it first. The glass was too narrow for her to dunk the cookie in. Careful to get crumbles everywhere, she broke the cookie in half. She plunged the cookie half into her milk, getting the tips of her fingers wet. She bit into her moistened cookie. She looked down and saw many crumbs all over her dress. With a few quiick swipes, she brushed the crumbs onto the floor. She suddenly became aware of someone staring at her, so she looked up.

All the while, he had stared long and hard at her. Finally, he spoke again. "Now, then. I want you to tell me about your life." He took a sip of his tea. "Try not to miss any details."

She fidgeted in her chair, trying to think of what she say. "Uh... Ok. Well, I was born in a town called Amity Park. But we moved when I was three to a place called Endsville..."
